The Peter Tork Memorial MONKEES Convention
"We will make the world shine"

Loose Salute is fronted by Mick Lawless, who also operates the Nevermind Record Shop for vinyl and pop culture collectors in Upton, Massachusetts. Mick founded the band years ago to pay homage to the masterful works of Mike Nesmith and artists such as The Beatles, Matthew Sweet, Todd Rundgren, Gene Clark and others. His music combines his love of classic country with 50s music, 60s pop and psychedelia. Loose Salute was the official back-up band for both Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz at the Super Mega-Fest conventions. Whether playing solo, with full band or as a duo, Mick performs Monkees songs in a unique style, occasionally with a country twang. When he's not on stage performing at the convention, visit his vendor booth in the marketplace.

Official Charity of the Event is the one Peter designated:
IMA - The Institute for The Musical Arts in Massachussetts.
